The Hereford Buccaneers Welcome You

Congratulations to the team on completion of another great season. Division 2 status was preserved and we nearly snuck into a playoff for Division 1. We missed out on that accolade by just 2 points. We live to regret the 2 home games we lost by just 2 pins however we can all be proud of what we achieved.

Out of the 4 teams who got promoted from Division 3 the season before we have faired 2nd best to the surprise package Trevor Williams who ended up scooping the title.

Once again Mark Rundle continued his dominance at the top of the averages league finishing with a seasonal average of 29.83 which trust me takes some consistent skittling! Runner up was new recruit, youngster Charlie Bird 29.36 who will unfortunately be unavailable most of next season.

The highest individual score trophy also belongs to Mark once more as he hit 49 away at the Welsh Club back in October against the strangely named Shop Assistants. PJ acheived the highest home score of the season on the difficult Buckingham alley with 41.

The season was capped as the Buccaneers retained the prestigious Buckingham cup after winning the end of season friendly with the Buckingham's other team Nalgo. That result means a treble of wins against Nalgo this season who sadly had a season to forget and drop back down to Division 3, Im sure we will see you again soon!

Many thanks to all the staff at the Buckingham for their hospitality and putting up with us for another season.

Also once again thanks to our dedicated stickers Josh and Liam as well as for their performances for the team.
